As Chief Executive of Entrepreneurial Scotland, Sandy is at the forefront of a movement to inspire and develop Scotland's people to build the most entrepreneurial society in the world.

James Stuart

Managing Director

As Managing Director for  Entrepreneurial Scotland, James is responsible for turning the strategy into reality by working closely with the Board, the CEO and the team who ultimately bring it all to life. He joined Entrepreneurial Scotland in July 2016 and has worked with the team on a brand new membership proposition.

Communications Director

Jane Richardson joined Entrepreneurial Scotland as Communications Director in April 2016. Working with Communications agency, Spreng Thomson, she develops and oversees the delivery of the media and public relations strategy and advises the Entrepreneurial Scotland team on stakeholder engagement and the execution of the communications plan.

Michaela Hruskova

Programme Executive

As the Saltire Fellowship Programme Executive, Michaela coordinates the delivery of the programme, with a main focus on the open enrolment pipeline. Her role involves a range of responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, and programme logistics.

Michaela works part-time alongside her postgraduate studies. She has an MA (Honours) degree in Business & Management from the University of Glasgow and she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in research methods in management before she embarks upon her PhD in entrepreneurship.

Rosalie Turbett

Programme Assistant

Rosalie joined Entrepreneurial Scotland in September 2015 and in her role as a Programme Assistant provides assistance and support to ensure the successful delivery of both the Scholars and Fellows Programmes.  She has also manages the Saltire Social Media pages. During her time at Entrepreneurial Scotland, she has worked on the 2016 Scholarship Programme and the 2015-16 Fellowship Programme.  She has been heavily involved in the recruiting cycle for the Scholars Programme, scheduling interviews for applicants and played a key role in organising the 2016 Fellows Cap

Sara Nelson

Head of Saltire Scholar Programme

Sara is responsible for the management of the Saltire Scholar internship programme which each year sees approximately 150 undergraduate students undertake summer internships across the UK and around the world. The role includes aspects of recruitment, marketing, stakeholder engagement, budgetary management, logistical supervision, operational planning and customer service.
