Neil Campbell took part in the first Saltire Fellowship programme in 2009. Neil used the Fellowship to return to Scotland after working as a technology consultant for Accenture in London.
Neil is now Growth Director for Lingo24, one of the world’s fastest growing language translation businesses. A member of Lingo’s senior management, Neil leads sales and marketing teams across Europe, America and Asia. Headquartered in Edinburgh and with a global team of over 200, Lingo24 help accelerate the international growth of a customer-base which includes ebay, adidas, TNT, Groupon and The Economist.
Prior to Lingo24, Neil was Head of Sales and Marketing at brightsolid, where over four years he led the sales team through a period of 40%+ year-on-year sales growth, and developed a business plan which resulted in a £5m infrastructure investment.
Outside of work, Neil was elected to the Board of Directors of ScotlandIS, the trade body for Scotland's technology businesses, and was a member of the Scottish Government’s Technology Advisory Board. He has also hosted projects for, and employed, Saltire Scholars and Fellows.
