Sandy Kennedy

Sandy Kennedy is the Chief Executive of Entrepreneurial Scotland. Its vision is, working with others, to inspire and develop Scotland's people to build the most entrepreneurial society in the world. Entrepreneurial Scotland is a peer network that commits to inspire, develop and connect current and future high impact entrepreneurial leaders worldwide to ignite economic growth in Scotland.

Sandy’s extensive commercial background has involved the successful startup of Bowie Castlebank Group’s online and direct business, the turnaround and growth of over 600 of their physical retail stores, as well as securing a partnership agreement with the largest supermarket chain in the UK.

Educated at Cambridge University he became a qualified lawyer with Ashursts in London specialising in private equity. He joined 3i, the venture capital firm, in 1996 and worked on a mix of traditional leveraged deals and tech venture capital. In 2000, he won the Chris Hill Prize for best overall MBA student at Strathclyde.

Sandy is passionate about Scotland's latent potential and how this can be unlocked through entrepreneurship and developing high potential talent.

Matt Little

Matt is a technology leader with over 20 year’s experience of senior roles in a wide range of technology sectors including cyber security, financial services, government and media.

Matt’s current role is Vice President of Engineering at the US Cyber Security firm, Fortinet. Prior to that, he was CTO at ZoneFox – an Edinburgh-based cyber security startup.

He has been through three exits, including co-leading the acquisition of ZoneFox by the US Cyber Security firm Fortinet in 2018. During his time at ZoneFox, Matt was involved in raising over £4 million of funding (from Angel investment groups and Government bodies). Matt is now an angel investor and is always looking for small to micro-sized startups for his investment portfolio.

Matt works closely with founders and senior teams to help them understand both the market potential for their idea, and how a clear technology and product focus can help them achieve their potential.

Jen Munro

Jen is an Educational Entrepreneur and international speaker. Jen is the founder and Managing Director of ISSOS International, a company that designs, creates and operates international summer programs for 13-18-year-olds from over 80 nationalities based at St Andrews, Cambridge and Yale Universities. ISSOS was launched in 2006 and catered to 51 students and now operates over three campuses catering to over 600 students every summer and known as a leading name in summer school education.

Jen is an award-winning Entrepreneur and was a finalist in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the year awards, in addition, Jen is a popular speaker and has been recognized as one of the top Business and Marketing speakers in the UK. Jen mentors a number of young businesses and entrepreneurs and is dedicated to making sure young people see entrepreneurship as an exciting option and use it to make an impact and change the world through business.
