If you’re an entrepreneurial business, two of your biggest challenges will be, access to finance and access to talent.

There are a number of tax schemes that can help you with both issues and will be covered in a workship lead by Andrew Holloway, Johnston Carmichael’s Head of Entrepreneurial Taxes.

Part one will look at employee incentivisation and how offering employees the chance to own a piece of a business can help recruit and retain top talent. Share option packages can help drive an all-inclusive culture, encourage skin in the game, and align the objectives of all stakeholders of the business, directors, investors and employees alike. Part two will look at what investors want and how various tax schemes such as SEIS & EIS can help entrepreneurs secure tax efficient investment.
