Intrapreneurs have the same spirit and drive that entrepreneurs have, but instead put it to use for their employer by looking for problems to solve and new markets to enter using their own initiative to create the solution and run with it. The major difference in being an intrapreneur is that it’s the organisation that wins or loses, depending on th individual’s success, while the individual gets the experience of entrepreneurship without the personal risk.

Join John Watson, Non executive Director of Edinburgh Airport, Operating Principal at the US private equity firm, Global Infrastructure Partners and Chief Executive Officer of Crosswind Developments Ltd, a new sister company of the airport. John will share his view on how intrapreneurs embark on similar journeys to entrepreneurs but with a different perspective as well as his experiences of creating an entrepreneurial culture within large organisations including Edinburgh Airport.

Join us with our chair for the evening Katy McNeil in Edinburgh for a fascinating focus dinner all around the importance of creating an intrapreneurial culture.
