FAQs

We are the leading member network for entrepreneurial people in Scotland, connecting like minded individuals with each other at every stage in their journey as an entrepreneurial leader, from early to advanced. We deliver world-class programmes to develop the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.

Our Saltire Scholar Internship programme provides life-changing opportunities for undergraduate students from all universities across Scotland.

Our Saltire Fellowship Leadership Programme is for those further on in their careers, providing a transformative experience for mid-career individuals ready to start a business or lead a programme of change within their existing organisation.

We lead collaboration across the entrepreneurial ecosystem and we’re working hard to join the dots and accelerate Scotland’s potential, by connecting and collaborating with people who are already entrepreneurial and who can work with us to get more people thinking and talking about entrepreneurialism.

Our vision is for a society that encourages individuals of all ages and backgrounds to be entrepreneurial, whether they are starting or growing a business, leading
an organisation of scale, or are ambitious to make a difference within our public services or third sector organisations.

Entrepreneurial Scotland was formed in 2014 from the merger of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, Scotland's leading network for business entrepreneurs, and the Saltire Foundation -set up with support from Scottish Enterprise to develop Scotland’s next generation of business leaders.

Entrepreneurial Scotland is the network for you, no matter what stage you are at in your entrepreneurial journey and whether you work in the private, public or third sector. To find out more about how to join visit our enquiries page

You will be part of a network where membership has grown from 400 to 1500 since Entrepreneurial Scotland was established in 2014.

You can  join one of three network tiers – Leading, Growing and Emerging – which will give you the right membership experience and ensure you meet like-minded individuals at a similar career stage.
