Personal qualities

This role will suit an individual who has a strong organisational and administrative background and supports the vision for Scotland to become the most entrepreneurial society in the world. Organisation will be at the crux of the role alongside great communication skills. The individual will work readily and easily with the existing Entrepreneurial Scotland team and key stakeholders. They will be a confident individual who can create rapport easily and has a strong desire to provide a consistent high quality service. They will be able to work flexibly within a growing team and positively help shape the culture and processes.

Specifically the individual will:

Accountabilities and responsibilities

1) Operations

a. Support the day to day delivery of all the Entrepreneurial Leaders Division (ELD) current and future programmes

b. Welcome and onboard new learners

c. Set up and maintain bespoke Learning Management System for programmes, cohorts and individual learners

d. Set up and maintain CRM for programmes, cohorts and individual learners

e. Produce standard programme reporting through CRM

f. Manage learner administration, including issue of correspondence, workbooks, meeting invitations, zoom/teams links etc

g. Support in development and branding of all ELD products, packs and materials to ensure consistency in brand identity

h. Working with Programme Manager and Head of Executive Education to identify, target and gain initial engagement of speakers, mentors and programme supporters

i. Liaise with individual learners on their feedback and needs

j. Ensure website content is maintained and updated

k. Support delivery of any in-person events which will include sourcing venues and ensuring appropriate facilities, logistics, catering are in place as required

b) Finance and Governance

a. Actively understand and adhere to appropriate and most up to date Data Protection Act and Financial Regulatory advice and best practice as directed by the organisation and adhere to the relevant policies at all times

b. Have a working knowledge of accounting package Xero to undertake data entry, and search and retrieve functionality

c. Management of project budgets as allocated

c) General

a. Actively contributing to Programme improvements; how we differentiate our programme from competitors and drawing the best out of our resources to achieve this

b. Actively promote the overall services of Entrepreneurial Scotland and work effectively with the wider ES team as required

c. Identify opportunities to positively promote the organisation

d. Other tasks as deemed appropriate by line manager

d) Talent and Systems

a. Demonstrate a commitment to personal development, actively identify opportunities for learning and take part in any training provided

b. Attend ES events as part of your development

Job Essentials

1. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a background in project administration

2. Strong project management, communication and organisation skills

3. Resilience in working under pressure and liaising with external parties

4. Excellent skills in document production in MS Office (word, excel, power point)

5. A strong team player

Desirable Experience

1. Experience in utilisation of Salesforce CRM system

2. Experience in working with a training provider/environment

Expected start date: 09/08/2021

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
