These popular events provide a unique opportunity to hear from a successful business leader who will share their insights into building their career and company. Recent speakers include Saltire Energy’s Mike Loggie and BrewDog’s James Watt.
View first-hand how a successful business operates on a day to day basis with a member of the company leadership team who will provide insight and knowledge about what has supported their business to be successful. Recent visits include a behind the scenes tour of Walkers Shortbread and Peak Scientific.
These highly select events for up to 12 guests are held in a private dining room to enable members with companies in the early growth stages to discuss a topic in-depth. Recent speakers include Claire Howell (RedCo), Andy Lothian (Insights) and Mairi Mickel (Mactaggert and Mickel) providing techniques and insights into building your business and developing your people.
We know that diaries are often tight and that early in the morning is often the best time of day for our members. These focused and informative morning events for up to 20 guests are aimed at members with companies in the early growth stages to discuss a topic in-depth.

Eligibility Criteria and Code of Conduct
Entrepreneurial Scotland is for people who have an entrepreneurial mind-set, a commitment to share openly and honestly and to give back more widely into the ecosystem. Members of Entrepreneurial Scotland network must agree to the principles of honesty, upholding Chatham House Rules and no selling within the network.
Our network tiers make sure you get the right membership experience wherever you are in your career or leadership journey. The eligibility criteria for each tier is based on the business or organisation a new member is leading (and controls) or is employed by. New members will be assessed based on trading turnover. For this tier the requirement is a turnover less than £1m (or equivalent value) with the potential for growth. Membership of the network is a personal membership and is not transferable. Our Membership Committee deals with all applications in a strictly private and confidential manner.
