Lesley is co-founder and former EVP, Marketing of FanDuel, the fantasy sports company that is redefining sports entertainment. Lesley was pivotal in building FanDuel into the first billion dollar sports startup since ESPN. As a core member of the FanDuel executive team, she set the strategy and scaled the company to employing over 300 staff across 5 locations. She created and implemented FanDuel’s aggressive analytical marketing strategy that efficiently scaled FanDuel’s marketing spend across both online and offline channels from zero to $300m annually. She built FanDuel from a concept to a household brand name with 80%+ brand awareness in the target demographic within 5 years, growing the user base to almost 3 million active paying players. To achieve this she hand-built a world-class marketing team of approximately 50 people across multiple geographies.
Lesley formerly served on the board of directors of FanDuel, is a current board member of Entrepreneurial Scotland, and an advisor to Tech City UK. Prior to founding FanDuel, Lesley worked as a management consultant and as a software account manager within the financial services industry. Lesley graduated from St. Andrews with a degree in Modern Languages. She is based in New York.
