Sharan oversees the various components that make up Ennismore and is responsible for the overall strategy of its brands.
Part developer, part operator and part in-house creative & design studio, Ennismore is currently crafting the global expansion of The Hoxton, building on the Scottish legacy of Gleneagles, creating a new budget hotel brand, NoCo, to roll out in key UK cities, and launching several standalone restaurants across London.
Before founding Ennismore, Sharan worked in a private equity fund focused on providing investment capital to turnaround under-performing UK businesses. Previously, Sharan was a turnaround CEO and shareholder of a distressed fashion and accessories manufacturer/exporter in India and he co-founded a venture capital backed Media & Marketing agency based in London.
Educated at The Doon School (India), Sharan holds an Accounting & Finance degree from Regents College where he was a Deans List Scholar and has an MBA from the London Business School. Ennismore was ranked #10 in Britain's fastest growing private companies in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and #29 in the Financial Times’ FT1000: Europe's fastest growing companies.
