Karim Wahdan, Business Strategy & Corporate Finance Intern, Unanet

I’m currently a Business & Corporate Finance intern at Unanet, where I have the privilege of working in both the Financial Planning & Analysis and M&A Team.

I've taken on some exciting projects. One of my main tasks has been developing a predictive forecast model. This model is designed to help us anticipate future sales trends by analysing past data and incorporating market dynamics. Another significant part of my internship has been focused on product pricing analysis

These projects provide me with a robust understanding of how financial data drives business operations.

Everyone in the company has been incredibly kind and accommodating. The welcoming attitude and support from my colleagues have helped me fit in very well.

Collaborating with these diverse teams has also illustrated how finance functions as the connective tissue between different parts of the organization. Moreover, these interactions have helped me build a network within the company, enhancing my learning and allowing me to contribute more effectively.

The transition to a remote internship presented its initial challenges, it has been a profoundly enriching experience that has taught me the importance of adaptability and self-reliance in today’s global and often virtual work environment.
