The Saltire Scholar experience is truly remarkable and I cannot recommend it enough. When I started my internship, I had a basic understanding of how a workplace operates, but I emerged with a clear and comprehensive grasp of how to effectively apply my skills I gained in University in the workplace. NEHGS provided exceptional mentors from various departments, expanding my understanding of non-profit work and fundraising in ways I hadn't considered before. They ignited my passion to continue in their field and seek roles that align with my desire to make a difference for the bettering of other people.
