The role entails supporting attorneys develop client relationships, creating pitch materials and researching routes of new business. Tracking deals and supporting the team through navigating client problems. The project I have been working on for the start of this internship involves developing business opportunities in the Baltics, an area where private equity is an upcoming and growing sector.
The experience this opportunity provides is highly valuable for both future employability and personal growth. Indicating what I find interesting and motivating within a job, outlining what route I may want to take post-graduation and develop a career in.
The Goodwin team has been very welcoming and supportive as I settled into my new role within the business. Despite a lot of change and a sense of imposter syndrome, I feel as though I have quickly managed to adapt to the new lifestyle and way of working.
