E.S: "What’s your background /past experience, for working in your position?

J.L: "Much of my coaching and facilitation experience was developed early in my career, when I coached youth rugby and played my part in the promotion and development of community clubs. I transferred these skills into my professional life, first through Common Purpose – an educational leadership development charity – and eventually through my own business that focused on employee engagement driven by community-linked leadership. I ran my own company for 13 years, before joining the ecosystem first with Elevator where I ran early stage Accelerator programmes in the North East, and now with ESF, where I work with leaders who are growing and scaling their operations."

E.S: What is your personality type?

J.L "The 16 personalities test tells me that my role is that of diplomat – but I’m not sure those who know me well would agree! My personality type is that of Turbulent Campaigner – which puts me in the personality category most likely to enjoy jazz…."
