You are responsible for organising your own accommodation. As you will be working virtually for your host company, you may find it easiest to stay in your current accommodation, if available, or live with family over the summer. This does not necessarily need to be in the UK, but please bear in mind any time differences if you will be working in a different country to your host company. However, if you need to look for alternative accommodation over the summer, here are a few tips:

The skills and tasks required from my internship were quite different to those that I use in my university degree. Despite this, the internship was a fantastic opportunity for general professional development and now I feel much more confident about moving into a graduate job! Although my internship was remote, the host company were very supportive!
This internship has overall been a fantastic experience. I have had the opportunity to work with supportive and intelligent individuals that do wildly interesting and valuable work. I have gained important professional development skills that will carry me forward into my future career.
Give yourself room to be flexible in the beginning, as you fly through your first week, you will learn what works best for you and then be able to create the most ergonomic workspace for yourself. It sounds obvious but it can't be overstated - make sure to take lots of breaks. In a normal office environment you have casual interaction/conversations with your coworkers throughout the day, whereas at home you don't have that and are likely to feel pressured into working even harder, but it's important to take breaks to maintain maximum efficiency throughout the day.
Overall, it has been especially humbling that my supervisor has trusted me to independently develop and manage value-adding projects. Just four weeks in and I already feel so much more confident in my capability and skills.
