Bursary Funded Catalyst Opportunity

Building on the huge success of our November 2021 Bursary Funded Catalyst programme, we are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for a second Bursary cohort to join us in March 2022 for this fully funded programme.

The Bursary Funded Catalyst programme will provide 12 high impact, high potential leaders - who are committed to creating lasting impact beyond their own business - with a 6 month programme of support. Entrepreneurial Scotland, in partnership with Babson College (#1 college for entrepreneurship for 25 years) will deliver a world class learning and an expertly facilitated peer support programme.

This Catalyst will explore the themes of Resilient Leadership and the Babson element will be co-led by internationally renowned Professor Scott Taylor and Professor Vanessa Druskat.

During this programme, the cohort will;

  • Understand the dynamics of resilience in companies of varying sizes and stages
  • Identify and develop the essential skills & characteristics of a resilient leade
  • Build a Blueprint for their personal leadership journey

Speaking on his own experience of the November 2021 Bursary funded programme, Scott Simpson CoFounder & CEO of Indinature - a cleantech bio-based materials R&D company said:

The value of sharing amongst peers is invaluable - a chief exec position can be isolating because you are limited by the number of people you can openly discuss challenges with. The learning from listening to other people's challenges is extremely valuable - the most useful learning is from fellow entrepreneurs and founders - less so from talking to people who haven't experienced start ups personally. Combined with the learning from Babson webinars this was a very worthwhile programme. I was really reluctant to take it up because I'm already far too overstretched for time - but in the end it was well worth carving out the time.
